All Zoning Permits are to be obtained from the Planner
PRIOR TO ISSUING OF BUILDING PERMITS The following items generally require a zoning permit:
Residential
Single-family residence
Addition to single-family residence
Detached building, deck, or swimming pool
Sheds up to 200 square feet
Commericial
New Building
Addition to exisiting building
Change of use

With the rise of scams and fraud, the Town wanted to make residents aware that we do not have deadlines for payments for services from our Town Planner or Attorney that must be paid by ACH or credit cards. The Town only accepts payments for permits and services by cash or check. The Parks & Rec. Department and Police Department accept credit cards separately from the Town. If you ever receive an email or an invoice that you are questioning, please feel free to reach out to the Clerk’s Office and we would be happy to answer your questions.
